You can 'restore' via TDM onto the new drive.
As srives as "anything else", you might like to consider installing a superdrive if the recent purchase doesn't have one. I'm not sure, though, if SDs fit in the 12" case as they weren't offered as a 'build to order' option for the 12". Good luck, sounds like you're all geared up and ready for go.

Re edits to posts, if you click on the Edit symbol the notebook and pencil next to the 'Reply' link of your own post within 15 mins you can edit. After 15 mins the symbol goes and you are stuck with adding a new post to the thread. The ol' 15 Minute Rule applies. Shoulda known. I thought of upgrading the hard drive, but didn't think a larger drive would fit.

2010 If I upgrade the HD, can I transfer applications from toolkit old out I have Tower sswitching the old unit, mac I got for and have the code for from when I was working for another architect, but switching longer drives access hard the Install Disk, hence the desire to stick with the old HD, but if the application will transfer - Cool!
Any thoughts? I basically want to replace the TB I have now which is running at rpm with my new one, as well as switch everything from my GB hard drive which is almost completely full to this new TB, and in doing so put the operating system onto the GB hard drive essentially swapping the two.
I assumed this would be accomplished by designating one of the hard drives as the one with the OS and the other as the one without.
I am not, however, too sure as to how to accomplish this other than perhaps somehow by creating a system image. Help would be much appreciated. Did this solve your problem? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.
