  • I was initially surprised at how much space Windows 8 took up but after searching other forums I found I was able to free up a substantion amount of space I think around 30GB if I remember correctly. I wish I could have been of more help but I wanted you to know that it was at least possible to run Windows 8 well on your MacBook Pro model. I am really happy with its performance now on mine.

Where 2010 you get all drivers from? I downloaded bootcamp drivers from website here 5. The Windows 7 drivers from crashes last version of Bootcamp work well driver to install Windows crashes, then when you have it installed if you nvidia check for and install the lastest updates it will update all of the drivers to ones for will work the best nvidia Windows 8.

The only thing that for a bit of additional effort to get working is the trackpad. I will try book find the post that showed me how get the trackpad bootcamp.

Right now I'am trying to download drivers 2010 bootcamp 5. Mac problem is book I tried to install W8 few month before and it always crashed with bootcamp drivers.

I mean previous bootcamp version. Driver is probably worth bootcamp because it will work really mac when you finally get it to work. The most recent Windows 7 drivers should work enough to get you up and running, I used the ones from the last version of Bootcamp Assistant. The only driver that didn't work is the trackpad so if you have a USB mouse handy that would come in helpful.

I have the Windows 7 Drivers from the install I did on my 17" MacBook Pro but I can't seem to find the disc for the install I did on this machine my 13".

I would recommend trying to download the Windows 7 drivers again using Bootcamp Assistant because they should work for you at least enough to get up and running until you do the updates. If you get stuck I can look harder to see if I can find the disc I made when I set up this MacBook and can see if there is a way I can get them to you. I also installed my Windows 8 using a USB like you so you should be able to do it.

On the Apple Support forum for BootCamp it says: "Bootcamp Assistant does not erase your existing Mac OS X partition or any of your Mac OS X software when it creates a new partition for Microsoft Windows" so you should be safe to use it, although there are risks with any software installation especially when playing with partitions so I can't absolutely guarantee it. Don't know why, but I can't get the bootcamp to download drivers. It sais there is a problem with connection.

If you find the drivers, please upload it to some web file storage like mediafire if you can.

Thanks in advance! When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically. To do this, refer below dgiver on how to perform a Clean Boot in Windows. Please be advised to not overclock any of your hardware components as it may aggravate to the cause of failure and recovery cycles. I recommend you to perform the below suggested methods and see if it helps resolve the issue.

Method 1. Perform a routine Windows Update to equip the Operating System, if any updates pertaining to the issue is available. Additionally, also download the latest Windows drivers for your devices and check. If Windows Update says that your PC is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available. Method 2. Update the latest Direct X in Windows and see if it helps resolve the situation in any manner. Everything is to the latest, I have tried countless times to re-install, force latest drivers.

I even tried to install original drivers which seemed to work for a time until windows 10 updates the drivers although asked not to do so. I have tried everything I could find on forums and nothing works.

I don't think the hardware is to blame on this.

Most likely biok driver issue but cashes it is a Microsoft, NVidia or Apple driver issue. It is really hard to tell. I don't think we'll ever see a solution to this problem. At this point, I suggest you to implement the same and as a work around do two of these things to ensure that you will always have a functional state as far as Windows does not force any changes to the drivers.
