how to switch off markup in word 2010 for mac

To start the conversation again, simply ask sqitch new question. Everytime I open a particular document in Word, the view shows Microsoft 2010 for mac, which is maroup distracting. I can go to View, and get rid of the markup view, but then it shows up again each time I open the document. Also, each time I open Word, every document I have worked on in the last few months opens, too. I close each document individually, using File - Close, which I thought would take care of it.

    1. Sharan:

Removing all of the tracked changes in your document is a two-step process: first turn off Track Changes, and then accept or reject the changes in your document. To accept all the changes at the same time, select the arrow below Accept and select Accept All Changes. To remove all comments at once, select a comment, and then on the go to Review , select the arrow below Delete and select Delete All Comments in Document.
